CJC-1295 NO/DAC with GHRP-2 is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) combined with growth hormone-releasing peptide-2 (GHRP-2). CJC-1295 is composed of 30 amino acids and has a molecular weight of 3647.16 g/mol. This peptide is derived from sermorelin (GHRH 1-29) and is formulated without a drug affinity complex (DAC), resulting in a shorter half-life compared to CJC-1295 with DAC, which binds to albumin to prolong its activity.(1) This formulation allows researchers to study short-term effects and pathways related to growth hormone release.(2)

Research indicates that CJC-1295 effectively promotes growth hormone (GH) release while maintaining normal levels of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) secretion.(3) GHRP-2, a synthetic ghrelin agonist, binds to the growth hormone secretagogue receptor, stimulating both GH release and appetite.(4) When used together, these peptides enhance the secretion of both growth hormone and IGF-1, making them valuable tools for studying metabolic pathways and muscle function.
